Your Role:

You will be carrying out painting, decorating, and general building maintenance tasks as part of reactive and planned maintenance activities.

You will be assisting the wider workforce to deliver efficient maintenance services across The Garrisons.
*
You will be ensuring all work meets company standards, building regulations, and health and safety requirements.
*
You will be responding to and resolving reactive maintenance tasks as directed by line management.
*
You will be recording all completed works accurately using company systems and documentation.
*
You will be working collaboratively to provide excellent customer service while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications: You will hold a full UK driving licence and be eligible for Ministry of Defence security clearance, with proven experience across building and construction engineering environments including industrial, commercial and domestic settings.
Experience: You will have relevant experience within a building trade, be proactive, able to manage varied workloads, and work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
Skills: You will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-focused approach, the ability to manage workloads, problem solve, and work safely within established systems of work and risk assessments.
Experience & Knowledge:
Relevant building trade experience within maintenance services.
Ability to work across multiple disciplines within a multi-trade environment.
Experience working in challenging and varied workloads within a team environment.
Desirable:
C&G 6217 Multi-skills qualification or equivalent.
PASMA and IPAF qualifications.
Health and safety training.
Experience within a military or Ministry of Defence environment.
Experience using handheld PDA systems.
Skills:
Ability to understand and implement risk assessments and safe systems of work.
Strong organisational and workload management capability.
Professional approach with discretion and accountability.
Team-focused with a flexible and proactive attitude.
