How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Project Architect, Birmingham, £40k - £55k depending on experience

    A rare opportunity for a talented Project running Architect to join one of the UK's leading architecture, urbanism and design practices.

    Based within their Birmingham studio, you will become part of a collaborative team delivering projects that range from strategic masterplans and urban regeneration schemes through to mixed-use, workplace and education developments across the UK and internationally.

    This is an opportunity for an Architect who enjoys working at a larger scale, helping to shape places, communities and environments, while still maintaining involvement throughout the wider design process.

    The successful candidate will be a confident job running Architect with strong Revit skills, capable of taking a project brief and driving projects forward with minimal supervision.

    Responsibilities

    Lead projects from briefing stages through to delivery
    Produce and coordinate design and technical information
    Work closely with clients, consultants and multidisciplinary teams
    Contribute to masterplanning, urban design and placemaking projects
    Attend client meetings, workshops and presentations
     Coordinate project teams across multiple work stages
     Requirements

    ARB Registered Architect with UK in practice experience
     Strong Masterplanning and Urban Design experience
    Proficient in Revit (essential)
    Proven project running experience
    Strong communication and presentation skills
