How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Marketing Executive

    Ipswich with some hybrid working offered

    £33,000 + Bonus + Excellent benefits

    Polkadotfrog are delighted to be working with a well-established and respected business, supporting them with their search for a Marketing Executive.

    Were looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Marketing Executive to join a growing, collaborative marketing team. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, youll have a strong record of developing, improving, and implementing all forms of marketing programmes and platforms, B2B exhibitions, collateral materials, and content-driven marketing campaigns.

    what youll be doing:

    Supporting the creation and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns to increase engagement and support business objectives.

    Creating engaging content and marketing materials across formats including presentations, case studies, email campaigns, and social assets.

    Previous experience running events and/or B2B exhibitions

    Working with CRM and marketing platforms (such as Salesforce and MailChimp) to manage data, segment audiences, and deliver targeted campaigns.

    Using analytics and feedback to monitor campaign performance and make recommendations for improvement.

    Contributing ideas, creative input, and fresh thinking to continuously improve marketing outputs.

    what were looking for:

    Proven experience: Previous experience in a marketing role, with a strong track record of developing and delivering successful campaigns.

    Previous experience running events / B2B exhibitions

    Tech-savvy: Confident using email platforms (e.g. MailChimp), CRM tools (Salesforce ideal), and creative software such as Photoshop, PowerPoint, and video editing tools.

    Creative mindset: A lateral thinker who can develop engaging, on-brand content across multiple channels and formats.

    Great communicator: Clear, professional, and confident when dealing with stakeholders at all levels.

    Organised and proactive: Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality work on time.
