Hygiene Operative – Permanent Night Shift
Location: Bridlington, East Yorkshire (YO15)
Industry: Food Production (Non-Meat, Non-Fish Environment)

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent / Long-Term Opportunities
We are recruiting reliable and hardworking Hygiene Operatives to join a well-established food production facility in Bridlington.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term employment with consistent hours, weekly pay, full training, and the opportunity to gain a permanent contract with a successful and growing business.

Shift Pattern
Permanent Night Shift (Fixed, Non-Rotating)
⦁ Monday to Friday
⦁ 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
⦁ 36.25 paid hours per week
⦁ Two breaks totalling 45 minutes

Pay Rates
⦁ £12.77 per hour basic rate
⦁ £12.00 per shift night allowance when the full shift is completed
⦁ Equivalent to £14.69 per hour

The Role
As a Hygiene Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the production facility.
Key duties include:
⦁ Deep cleaning production machinery and equipment
⦁ Cleaning floors, walls, and production areas
⦁ Safely using industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals
⦁ Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
⦁ Completing hygiene records and cleaning documentation accurately
⦁ Reporting faults, hazards, or maintenance concerns
⦁ Supporting the team to maintain audit-ready standards

Requirements
⦁ Previous hygiene, cleaning, or factory experience is beneficial but not essential
⦁ Good understanding of hygiene and health & safety practices
⦁ Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and prolonged periods of standing
⦁ Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
⦁ Willingness to learn and undertake training
⦁ Knowledge of food manufacturing environments would be advantageous
