How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical installation works on a major commercial construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering the project on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    Electrical Site Manager Key Responsibilities

    * Manage and supervise all electrical installation activities on site.

    * Coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.

    * Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and programme requirements.

    * Monitor progress and provide regular updates to project management.

    * Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks.

    * Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.

    * Manage labour resources and site productivity.

    * Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and other trades.

    * Identify and resolve technical and operational issues.

    * Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.

    * Support commissioning, testing, and project handover activities.

    Electrical Site Manager Requirements

    * Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on commercial construction projects.

    * Electrical trade background with relevant qualifications.

    * Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations.

    * SMSTS certification.

    * CSCS Card.

    * First Aid at Work certification.

    * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

    * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

    * Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and site management practices.

    * Experience working on large-scale commercial, office, retail, healthcare, or mixed use developments.

    * Temporary works awareness.

    * Experience with commissioning and project handover processes.
