Sheet Metal & Fabrication
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager on behalf of our client. You will need experience in sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing/ engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining existing customer relationships, and providing technical sales support for custom fabrication projects.
Key Responsibilities as Account Manager
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within manufacturing, construction, engineering, and industrial sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Review customer drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Prepare quotations and proposals for sheet metal fabrication projects.
Coordinate with production, engineering, and estimating teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Conduct customer visits, presentations, and follow-up meetings.
Negotiate pricing and contracts while maintaining profitability targets.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
Requirements as Account Manager
Previous sales experience within sheet metal fabrication, metalworking, or manufacturing and engineering.
Strong understanding of fabrication processes including laser cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
