Are you a Plant Fitter looking for a local workshop and field-based role, offering plenty of overtime to boost your earnings while working on a broad range of plant and tool hire equipment?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing organisation where you will work on a wide range of plant and tool hire equipment, carrying out maintenance, servicing, diagnostics and repairs both within the workshop and at customer sites. The role offers excellent variety, autonomy and long-term career development.

In this position, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing a broad range of plant machinery and equipment, diagnosing faults across diesel, petrol, hydraulic and electrical systems, and ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards. You will split your time between the workshop and customer sites, providing both planned maintenance and reactive breakdown support.

This role would suit a Plant Fitter from a plant hire, construction equipment, agricultural machinery or heavy equipment background looking for a varied workshop and field-based position.

The Role

Servicing, maintaining and repairing plant and tool hire equipment
* Fault finding on diesel, petrol, hydraulic and electrical systems
* Carrying out inspections, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
* Workshop-based repairs alongside field service work at customer sites
* Ensuring equipment is maintained to high safety and operational standards
* Monday to Friday 7:30 - 5:30The Person

Plant Fitter or similar
* Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
