The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Job Purpose As a Controls Project Engineer Contractor, you will provide critical technical expertise and day-to-day project support across electrical and automation initiatives. You will act as a pivotal bridge between cross-functional teams, contractors, and site stakeholders to ensure that engineering projects are scoped, designed, commissioned, and delivered safely, on time, and in strict alignment with Mars safety and quality standards. Responsibilities ● Project Support & Delivery: Deliver technical input into the scoping, design, and execution of engineering projects, including the preparation of technical documentation, specifications, and design reviews. ● Safety & Compliance: Issue work permits for contractors and ensure all engineering activities rigorously comply with Mars site safety procedures and regulatory standards. ● Testing & Commissioning: Attend and actively participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and support the commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation systems. ● Stakeholder Management: Manage and collaborate with key stakeholders, including internal associates, external contractors, and suppliers, to maintain alignment on project timelines and objectives. ● Team Collaboration: Contribute to a dynamic engineering team, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance overall departmental capabilities. About You ● Education & Qualifications: A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline. Professional certifications like PMP, NEBOSH, or PLC certifications (Siemens/Mitsubishi/Allen Bradley) are highly advantageous. ● Experience: A proven track record of delivering Controls, Automation, and Electrical projects, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing/logistics environment
