Risk Management Security Services are seeking a professional, customer-focused Security Officer to join our team at Signal Yard, the exciting new leisure and retail destination at Milton Park, Didcot. Due to open shortly, Signal Yard will bring together a range of restaurants, a tap room, retail units and community spaces, creating a vibrant destination for visitors, employees and residents. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the site from the very beginning and play a key role in helping establish a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone who visits.

About the role:
This is a highly customer-focused security role where you will be the first point of contact for many visitors, providing assistance, directions and reassurance while maintaining a visible security presence throughout the site.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out regular patrols of Signal Yard and surrounding areas.
Provide a welcoming and professional presence for visitors and members of the public.
Assist visitors with directions and information about the site and its facilities.
Monitor activity across the leisure and retail areas.
Respond professionally to incidents, emergencies and customer enquiries.
Build positive relationships with tenants, visitors and site management.
Help maintain a safe, secure and enjoyable environment for all.
Complete incident reports and site documentation accurately.
Drive a company vehicle where required as part of patrol duties.About you:
Essential Requirements:
Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Friendly, approachable and professional manner.
Ability to remain calm and make careful decisions under pressure.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as in a team.Previous security experience is desirable but not essential. Applicants with security backgrounds in hospitality, retail, customer service, shopping centres, the police and armed forces are encouraged to apply.
What we offer:
£14.68 per hour.
Fixed working pattern: Wednesday to Sunday, 17:00-01:00.
