How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Website Content Administrator (Part-Time)

    Norwich | 20–25 Hours Per Week | Competitive Hourly Rate

    Select Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a successful, family-run business in Norwich that is looking for a Website Content Administrator to join their friendly team.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys structured work, has a keen eye for detail, and wants to play an important role in maintaining a busy e-commerce website.

    What You'll Be Doing

    Uploading new products to the company website
    Updating product descriptions, images, pricing, and SKU codes
    Maintaining accurate product information across the site
    Checking content for errors and inconsistencies
    Ensuring customers have a positive online experience
    Working closely with colleagues to keep website content up to date
    This isn't a technical IT role. Full training will be provided, and we're more interested in your attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to spot mistakes before they become problems.

    What We're Looking For

    You'll be someone who:

    ✔ Enjoys working accurately and methodically

    ✔ Is comfortable with repetitive tasks

    ✔ Has good written communication skills

    ✔ Isn't afraid to ask questions when unsure

    ✔ Is reliable, trustworthy, and eager to learn

    Previous experience in administration, data entry, website content management, e-commerce, or product administration would be beneficial but is not essential.
