How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Experience Required: 3–5 years

Our client is a successful and growing international manufacturing and engineering business with operations across the UK and Europe. With a strong reputation for innovation, quality and customer service, the company supplies specialist products and solutions to customers worldwide.
As the business continues to evolve, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Marketing Executive to join the team. This role is ideally suited to someone with 3–5 years' marketing experience who is looking for the next step in their career and the chance to take ownership, influence change and play a key role in developing the company's marketing presence.
Working within a supportive but entrepreneurial environment, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact while gaining exposure to an international business and global customer base.

This is a hands-on, varied marketing role where you'll become a key driver of the company's marketing activities. You'll be responsible for managing digital content, social media engagement, website development and marketing campaigns, whilst helping to build a stronger marketing culture throughout the organisation.
We're looking for someone who doesn't wait for instructions but instead identifies opportunities, generates ideas and takes ownership of delivering them.

Lead and develop the company's social media presence.
Create engaging content across multiple platforms.
Develop content calendars and campaign plans.
Generate ideas for videos, employee stories, product features and customer case studies.
Encourage internal participation and build enthusiasm for content creation across the business.
    Website & Digital Marketing

    Manage and maintain company websites.
Coordinate website updates and content improvements.
Support SEO and digital marketing initiatives.
Monitor website performance and user engagement.
Drive improvements to enhance the customer journey and online visibility.
    Marketing Coordination

Act as the central organiser for marketing activities and projects.
Coordinate internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Manage marketing schedules and campaign delivery.
Ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
    Events & International Exposure

Support the company's attendance at industry exhibitions and trade events.
Assist with planning and coordinating marketing activity around exhibitions.
Travel occasionally to UK manufacturing sites and offices.
Benefit from opportunities to visit international locations, including European offices and selected overseas trade shows.
Represent the business professionally within an international environment and contribute to building stronger relationships across the wider group.

    Essential Skills & Experience

3–5 years' experience in a marketing, digital marketing, communications or social media role.
Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.
    Website management experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally.

Self-starter who takes ownership and initiative.
    Positive, enthusiastic and creative.
Strong organiser with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communicator able to engage colleagues across all levels of the business.
Someone who enjoys bringing new ideas and driving change.
Comfortable working remotely whilst remaining highly collaborative.
    Desirable

Experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial sectors.
Experience of trade shows and exhibitions.
Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and digital marketing tools.
Photography, videography or graphic design skills.
    Exposure to international business environments.
    What's on Offer?

A genuine opportunity to shape and influence marketing activity.
Significant autonomy and ownership within the role.
Career progression opportunities within a growing international organisation.
    Remote working flexibility.
Exposure to international markets, colleagues and customers.
Occasional travel to UK and overseas locations without the demands of extensive travel.
The chance to make a visible impact within a successful and evolving business.
    Ideal Candidate
This role would suit someone who has built a strong foundation in marketing and is now looking for a position where they can take greater ownership, contribute ideas, influence change and develop their career within an international business environment.
If you're ambitious, proactive and excited by the prospect of helping shape the future of marketing within a growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
