How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role

    As a Graduate Digital Electronics Engineer, you will become a technical expert in the company's products and work closely with customers to develop solutions for real world electronics testing and programming challenges.

    You will review electronic schematics, develop test solutions, create software models for electronic devices and provide technical demonstrations and support to customers. No two projects are the same, making this an ideal role for engineers who enjoy variety and continuous learning.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop technical solutions for customer applications and projects

    • Review electronic schematics and hardware designs

    • Configure and develop test and programming projects

    • Create new device models from technical datasheets using high level programming languages

    • Deliver product demonstrations, presentations and training

    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance

    • Gather customer feedback and contribute to product improvements

    • Work closely with engineering, sales and support teams

    About You

    You will ideally have:

    • A degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or a similar discipline

    • A strong understanding of digital electronics

    • Knowledge of embedded systems, microprocessors or FPGAs

    • Experience with a programming language such as Python, C or C++

    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills

    • A genuine interest in working with customers and understanding their requirements

    • The ability to manage your own workload and priorities
