Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a flexible supply basis in a range of secondary schools across Wakefield.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will supervise pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged with the work provided.
The Role:
Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Support students in completing assigned work.
Ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
Work on a flexible basis to suit your availability.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, or youth work setting.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Confidence leading groups of students aged 11-16.
A proactive and adaptable approach.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
