How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    BIM Coordinator

    Remote (UK-based)

This opportunity for a BIM Coordinator will allow you to work from wherever you are most productive, with a fully remote setup that gives you genuine flexibility and control over your day.

You will still benefit from structured onboarding, with initial visits to site and the office to get up to speed, before transitioning into a primarily remote role. There may be occasional travel for key meetings or project milestones.

At the same time, you will also follow a clear path into BIM Management, with hands-on mentoring to help you step up within 2 years. Working closely with an experienced Senior Design Manager who will support you with your development.

BIM Coordinators will be part of a new and growing internal design team, so you will have the chance shape how things are done and make a real impact on the design process.

You will be working on the design and delivery of drylining and ceilings projects using Revit, collaborating remotely with the Design Manager and wider project teams.

This is a hands-on role and you will be responsible for modelling drylining components (including walls and ceilings) to LOD 3.5–LOD 5 standards.

You will expected to review and close out BIMcollab issues on a weekly basis, as well as producing detailed layout drawings, including General Arrangements (GAs), Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCPs), and Wall Type drawings.

Using Navisworks you will coordinate clash detection and resolve design integration issues.

You will also produce Stage 5 technical drawings as well as maintaining the BIM model, including family component editing and integration with other trades.

    Desirable Background:

    * Strong Revit skills including family creation/editing and scheduling

    * Proficient in AutoCAD (drafting, sheet management, PDF extraction/editing)

    * Experience using Navisworks for BIM clash detection and resolution

    * Ability to produce detailed construction technical drawings at Stage 5 or above

    * Background in drylining, ceilings, architectural or interior fit out

    About the company

A drylining subcontractor in the construction industry, leading the way on in-house technical design and 3D modelling. They offer true flexibility, respect your work-life balance and give you autonomy in your role.

Unlike others in the drylining space, they are embracing BIM modelling and expanding their internal design team to keep everything in-house.
