Location: Deeside
Pay: £13.39 per hour + £10 shift allowance
Hours: 40 hours per week (rotating shifts)
A well-established and reputable industrial business is seeking a reliable and experienced Yard / General Plant Operative to join their team at their Deeside site. This is a great opportunity to join a busy operation with consistent hours and the opportunity for overtime.
The Role
This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced yard environment. Duties will include:
Loading and unloading curtain sider vehicles and containers
Stock rotation and material handling
Conducting daily equipment checks
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard (housekeeping)
Operating plant machinery in line with safety standards
Working Hours
This role operates on a rotating shift pattern:
Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
Week 2: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Pay & Benefits
£13.39 per hour
£10 shift allowance
Overtime available at weekends and occasionally during weekdays
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Requirements
Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) licence preferred, or
Alternative plant machinery licences (e.g. loading shovel, telehandler, 360 excavator)
Previous experience in a yard, warehouse or industrial environment
Ability to work rotating shifts
Strong awareness of health and safety practices
Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
