Your new role:
As a teaching assistant within this school you will be supporting pupils with SEMH. You will offer tailored 1:1 support across the class, planning and delivering comprehensive interventions in key areas with an aim of building emotional confidence, well-being and interpersonal skills. Other core duties will include:
* Implement positive behaviour strategies
* Deliver ESLA interventions
* Work collaboratively with the SENCO to boost attendance
What you need to succeed:
* Full “Right to Work” in the UK
* Be able to commit to a full-time contract
* Having an NVQ Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification is advantageous but not essential
* Previous experience delivering or knowledge of ELSA
* Experience supporting SEMH is highly advantageous
* Have an Enhanced Children’s DBS certificate or willingness to obtain

£95.00 - £107.00 per day
