How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Designing and delivering outreach campaigns to boost brand awareness and drive student recruitment.

    * Building and maintaining relationships with university stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with recruitment needs.

    * Organising and managing events such as open days, workshops, and information sessions within local communities.

    * Developing training tools and calendars for sales, admissions, and agents, including webinars and online sessions.

    * Creating tailored messaging for each stage of the student journey using CRM automation.

    * Conducting market research to inform campaigns and provide insights on competitor positioning.

    * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce marketing materials, including printed collateral, social media content, paid media campaigns, and alumni engagement activities.

    * Managing and mentoring Marketing Executives or Assistants, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth.

    Person Specification

    Essential:

    * A degree or equivalent marketing qualification.

    * At least 5 years’ experience in a marketing role within a commercially driven environment.

    * Proven expertise in both B2B and B2C marketing, ideally within the education sector.

    * Strong project management and organisational skills.

    * Proficiency in Adobe tools (InDesign) and online graphic platforms like Canva.

    * Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and generative AI tools.

    * Exceptional copywriting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

    Desirable:

    * Experience in marketing leadership or management roles.

    * Familiarity with print and digital campaign planning.

    * Understanding of non-traditional learner audiences and UK-funded studies.

    About the team

You’ll work closely with the Deputy Director, Partner Marketing, and collaborate with a dynamic marketing team, including specialists in community, performance, and social media. You’ll also liaise with recruitment, admissions, and centre teams to maximise outcomes and ensure alignment across functions.
