How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Project Manager

    Project Manager – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure

    A leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team. This Project Manager opportunity offers the chance to deliver major infrastructure projects that make a real impact on local communities while providing excellent career progression and long-term development.

    The successful Project Manager will provide strong leadership across all aspects of project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, site teams, subcontractors and senior leadership to drive successful project outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead project teams and supply chain partners to deliver projects safely, on programme and within budget.

    Ensure all health, safety and wellbeing standards are maintained and continuously improved.

    Build strong client relationships and ensure project objectives are understood and achieved.

    Monitor project progress, costs, risks and performance indicators.

    Produce regular reports for senior management on delivery, commercial performance and mitigation strategies.

    Drive operational excellence through effective planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Coordinate project resources and ensure quality standards are achieved throughout delivery.

    Requirements

    Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.

    Proven experience operating as a Project Manager on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

    Strong understanding of contract administration, risk management and cost control.

    Excellent leadership, planning and communication skills.

    Knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction best practice.

    Valid CSCS card.
