How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Operations Trainer / MHE Trainer
    Location: Rugby
    Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (DOE)
    Hours: Monday - Friday
    Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

    About the Role

    Omnia Resourcing is recruiting for an Operations Trainer / MHE Trainer to join a growing logistics operation in Rugby.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trainer who is passionate about developing people, promoting safe working practices, and driving operational excellence. Whether you already hold an MHE Trainer qualification or are looking to gain this certification, we would love to hear from you.

    You will play a key role in supporting colleagues across the site, ensuring training is engaging, effective, and aligned with operational and safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Deliver engaging operational and MHE training to new and existing colleagues.
    Conduct MHE assessments and maintain accurate training and certification records.
    Support onboarding, inductions, and new starter programmes.
    Develop and deliver training materials, standard operating procedures, and safe systems of work.
    Work closely with Operations and Health & Safety teams to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
    Create and implement Safe Working Practices and Safe Working Procedures across the site.
    Deliver refresher training and support ongoing upskilling initiatives.
    Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements where required.
    Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    Maintain accurate training documentation and records.

    Requirements

    Experience working within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
    Previous experience delivering training within an operational setting.
    Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage colleagues at all levels.
    Experience writing training materials, SOPs, and operational procedures.
    Good understanding of warehouse operations and health & safety requirements.
    Confident delivering both classroom-based and practical training.
    Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    Experience using training management systems and maintaining training records.
    Current MHE Trainer certification is desirable.
    Candidates with operational training experience who are keen to gain an MHE Trainer qualification will also be considered.
