Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing environment. This role involves operating production equipment, carrying out assembly tasks, and ensuring products meet quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently
Assemble parts, components, and materials following work instructions and quality standards.
Carry out quality checks including visual inspections, testing, and measurements where required.
Pack finished products, label goods, and prepare items for dispatch or storage.
Support stock control activities including picking, replenishment, and inventory tracking.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to support smooth production operations.
Report any faults, issues, or production concerns promptly.
Assist with assembly, picking, packing, and general production duties as required.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, picking, packing, or warehouse operations preferred.
Forklift truck licence advantageous but not essential.
Basic Health & Safety awareness.
Good computer and keyboard skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Reliable, organised, and proactive attitude.
Willingness to work additional hours when required.
