How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Act as a point of contact for service users, families, and healthcare professionals, handling queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies and procedures
Cover and support the Southend branch as required, including travel between locations
Assist with rota management and ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained at all times
Lead by example in promoting a culture of dignity, respect, and compassion across both branches
Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence and take responsibility for key operational decisions
Support the business in working towards and maintaining outstanding CQC ratings

We are looking for a motivated and experienced care professional who has a genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and a desire to grow within the organisation.

Previous experience in a Deputy Care Manager, Senior Care Coordinator, or similar management role within a domiciliary or complex care setting is essential
Strong knowledge of CQC standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
Experience managing or supporting complex care packages is highly desirable
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced, demanding environment
    A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving
Confident in conducting care assessments, risk assessments, and care plan reviews
Computer literate with experience using care management software or scheduling systems
Committed to continuous professional development and keen to progress into a Registered Manager role
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential – travel between Brentwood and Southend branches will be required
Right to work in the UK – please note we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position

    Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
Clear and supported **progression pathway to Registered Manager**
**1 day working from home** per week
A welcoming, supportive, and professional working environment
Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
The chance to make a real difference to the lives of the people we support
