Fox Morris Group are working to recruit a Homelessness Prevention & Relief Officer
Hybrid working, 1-2 days per week in the office.
Job Purpose:
* The Homelessness Prevention & Relief Team operates within a fast-paced, high-demand, customer-focused environment, delivering a statutory front-line service to households who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
* Homelessness Prevention & Relief Officers (HPROs) manage high-volume caseloads and are responsible for providing comprehensive housing advice and intervention to prevent or relieve homelessness wherever possible.
* From initial contact through to the conclusion of the Council’s statutory duty, HPROs undertake detailed housing needs assessments, develop and review personalised housing plans, investigate homelessness applications, and issue legally robust written decisions.
* These decisions must be drafted in accordance with relevant legislation, statutory guidance, and case law, requiring a high level of professional expertise and accuracy.
