How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

    Location: Stoke-on-Trent

    Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Depending on experience

    Electrical Maintenance Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer based in the Stoke on Trent area, who due to continued success are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

    The successful candidate will be joining assisting with preventative maintenance and breakdowns on electrical matters.

    Electrical Maintenance Engineer Position Overview

    Undertake planned preventative and reactive maintenance duties in a timely manner ensuring operational downtime is kept to a minimum.
    Identify solutions that will improve systems efficiency and reduce costs with existing equipment whilst being involved in developing and commissioning new equipment.
    Ensure that all equipment is to a high standard of housekeeping and health and safety at all times.
    Work alongside on-site contractors.

    Electrical Maintenance Engineer Position Requirements

    Proven experience with an electrically biased maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
    City & Guilds 18th edition qualified or similar.
    Good attention to detail.
    Experience of PLC systems is desirable
    Based in a commutable distance of Stoke on Trent .
    Willingness to be partake in a call out rota

    Salary £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
    Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30, permanent position.
