Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £36k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a respected name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, with a stronghold in the South East of England. They are recruiting for a hardworking and diligent Water Hygiene Engineer to service a range of commercial, public sector and domestic contracts. The ideal candidate will have well-rounded experience, including cleans and disinfections, TMV servicing and completing sampling and montoring regimes. It would be advantageous to be based near to the M25 for easier access to the region. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: company vehicle, overtime and fuel card.

You will be travelling across: Chelmsford, Billericay, Basildon, Witham, Clacton-on-Sea, Colchester, Harlow, Southend-on-Sea, Romford, Ilford, Grays, Tilbury, Enfield, South Benfleet, Canvey Island, South Woodham Ferrers, Gravesend, Erith, Dartford, Sidcup, Bromley, Orpington, Chatham, Snodland, Maidstone, Croydon, Mitcham, Sutton.

Experience / Qualifications:

* Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer

* Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines

* Flexible to travel in line with company needs

* Good literacy and numeracy skill level

* Comfortable using IT software

* Hardworking attitude

The Role:

* Showerhead and outlet descales

* TMV servicing and maintenance

* Flushing on little used outlets

* Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks

* Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring

* Calorifier disinfections

* Keeping accurate records of works undertaken

* Adhering to set timescales and personal targets
