Key Responsibilities
Provide classroom support for pupils with a variety of special educational needs
Work alongside teachers to deliver personalised learning activities
Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small group settings
Encourage communication, independence, and engagement in learning
Assist with behaviour support strategies and emotional regulation where required
Help create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
Contribute to monitoring pupil progress and wellbeing
Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable
Patient, understanding, and resilient approach to supporting pupils
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Adaptable and confident responding to individual pupil needs
Committed to helping pupils achieve their personal and educational goals
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally
