How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out in-process inspections and final (last-off) inspections, ensuring products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and company quality standards before release.

    Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-process inspections throughout the manufacturing and fabrication process.
Perform final and last-off inspections prior to product release and dispatch.
Inspect fabricated and welded components against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
Use a range of measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers, height gauges, tape measures, and other inspection tools.
Identify, record, and report non-conformances and quality issues.
Support production teams in maintaining quality standards and resolving quality-related concerns.
Complete inspection reports, quality documentation, and traceability records accurately.
Ensure all products comply with customer, industry, and internal quality standards.
Work closely with production, fabrication, welding, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.
Participate in quality investigations and root cause analysis where required.
    Candidate Requirements

Previous experience working as a Quality Inspector, QA Inspector, or Quality Technician within a heavy manufacturing environment.
Ideally from a fabrication, welding, structural steel, pressure vessel, sheet metal, or general engineering background.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Experience carrying out dimensional inspections using a variety of measuring equipment.
Strong understanding of quality control processes and inspection procedures.
Good attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and non-conformances.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across production teams.
Experience using FARO arm, CMM equipment, or advanced inspection tools would be advantageous.
