Working with many of the UK's leading Tier 1 main contractors, our client has established an excellent reputation for quality, safety, and delivery. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Junior Health & Safety Advisor to join their expanding Health & Safety team.
This opportunity would suit someone with a background in construction who has recently completed their NEBOSH General Certificate and is looking to build a long-term career within health and safety.
The Role
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will support the implementation and maintenance of health and safety standards across multiple projects throughout London.
Key responsibilities will include:
Carrying out regular site inspections and audits.
Identifying hazards and supporting site teams in implementing corrective actions.
Assisting with accident, incident, and near-miss investigations.
Reviewing RAMS and health & safety documentation.
Supporting site teams with health & safety compliance and best practice.
Delivering toolbox talks and site safety briefings.
Producing audit reports and monitoring actions through to completion.
Promoting a positive health & safety culture across all projects.
Liaising with site management, clients, and main contractors on health & safety matters.
Requirements
NEBOSH General Certificate (recently completed or currently completing).
Previous experience working within the construction industry.
Good understanding of construction site activities and associated risks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive approach and willingness to learn.
Good IT and administrative skills.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
