🛠️ About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Pipelayers / Main Layers to join an established team working on clean water utilities projects across the Didcot / Thames Valley area.

This role involves the installation and renewal of water mains on major infrastructure projects, including work on leading frameworks such as Thames Water.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Installation of water mains (MDPE, DI and associated fittings)
Carrying out butt fusion and electrofusion welding on HDPE pipe
Excavation, bedding, laying, jointing and backfilling
Reading and interpreting utility drawings and plans
Working safely in trenches and around live services
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and water hygiene

👷‍♂️ Requirements

Proven experience as a Pipelayer / Main Layer in utilities
Strong experience in butt fusion welding (essential)
Knowledge of clean water / potable mains installation
Ability to work effectively as part of a team or gang

Certifications (preferred but not all essential):

CSCS Card
EUSR Water Hygiene
NRSWA / Streetworks
