How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    People and Culture (HR) Administrator

This role will be on a full-time, temporary basis for six months (with the potential to lead to a permanent role).

    The Role

    As a People and Culture Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting HR activities across the business.

    This is a fast-paced and varied position where you will work closely with the People and Culture Manager to ensure records and systems are updated efficiently and accurately.

    - Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems (Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations) and our rewards platform (Reward Gateway)
    - Produce HR reports and support weekly/monthly analytics
    - Administer onboarding, including offer letters and terms & conditions, DBS checks, and Right to Work compliance
    - Manage employee lifecycle changes (starters, leavers, internal moves, probation reviews)
    - Support absence management processes and maintain accurate sickness records
    - Organise and maintain personnel records and sensitive documentation
    - Support the administration of Sec3ure and MIA credentialing schemes
    - Provide administrative support for People initiatives and projects
    - Produce notes and letters from formal meetings such as disciplinary and grievance hearings

    Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, office-based Monday to Friday, approximately 8:30am – 5:00pm.

    You’ll thrive in this role if you’re highly organised, naturally detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    Essential Experience

    - Previous experience in an HR or administrative role
    - Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
    - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
    - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    - Ability to prioritise workload and work independently

    Desirable Experience

    - Experience using HR systems
