How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    KS2 Teacher

    Your new companyHays Education Wirral is a market-leading recruitment agency supporting primary schools across the Wirral Local Authority. We are currently working with a Wirral-based Primary School to recruit a KS2 teacher to take on full class teaching responsibilities from February half-term.

    Your new role

    This role involves full class teaching responsibilities, including long-term planning and marking, starting in September.

    Plan and deliver engaging and effective KS2 lessons to students.
    Assess and mark students' work, providing constructive feedback.
    Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
    Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experienceWhat you'll need to succeed

    To apply for this role, you must be passionate and driven, with a strong desire to be a successful teacher. You must meet the core criteria below:

    A minimum of 2 months' teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements).
    You must have the right to work in the UK.
    You must have a PGCE, QTS or QTLS.If you don't have a PGCE, QTS, QTLS or recent teaching experience, you can register as a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor, provided you have worked with children for 1 month in the past 4 years. We welcome applicants who are currently working for other agencies.
