How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Heat Pump Supervisor

    Field and Office-based - 1-hour radius of Cambridge

    Are you an experienced heat pump engineer who is looking to progress their career at a growing company where you will have the opportunity to progress further off the tools and play a key role in company growth targets being hit?

    Specialising in providing renewable energy solutions for high end properties across Cambridgeshire and East Anglia, this company are in an exciting period of growth. Part of a larger nationwide group, they are now looking to recruit an Heat Pump Supervisor to join their highly professional team.

    In this role the successful candidate will oversee and supervise ground and air source heat pump installations across the region. The role will be a mix of on and off the tools work with this person supporting with installations as well as using their experience and knowledge to ensure high standards of work across the company's heat pump installations.

    This is an ideal role for an experienced heat pump engineer who is looking to take a step up and develop their leadership career at a growing company.

    The Role:
