How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Internal Technical Sales Engineer.

    Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

    Industrial Engineering Solutions.

    Salary - £40,000 - £45,000.

    Package Details: Pension Contributions, 33 Days Holiday.

    Working Hours: Monday - Thursday (8:00am – 4:30pm) / Friday (8:00am – 2:00pm).

This business has built a fantastic reputation for technical excellence through the provision of engineering solutions across a broad range of industries.

    Predominantly receiving internal enquiries this will suit a Technical Sales Engineer who loves talking engineering and providing the right solution to benefit the client. Honesty, integrity and a consultative approach are top of the agenda for this role…

    Role Description

    * Management and further development of existing accounts.

    * Receiving internal enquires from customer and providing engineering advice.

    * Discussing equipment system requirements with customers and engineers.

    * Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.

    * Researching, developing and modifying products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.

    * Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain products to customers.

    * Providing quotes to end users.

    Skills and Qualifications.

    * General Mechanical Engineering knowledge / experience.

    * Ability to build rapport and relationships with a variety of stakeholders and decision makers.

    * Experience within an ‘internal sales’ or account management role (desirable)

    * Strong communication skills and organisational ability.
