How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    This highly regarded Manchester agency is on the search for a strategic communicator with a strong editorial instinct and a deep understanding of B2B and corporate communications. Can you turn complex topics into compelling narratives and build trusted relationships with clients and media alike? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

    They are looking for an accomplished Account Manager/ Senior AM to join their B2B & Corporate team.

    The client portfolio will be centered around the property, real estate or built environment and technology. They have lots of new biz both within B2B and corporate communications, so that list is not exhaustive.

    Working logistics – Manchester office/Hybrid. 3 days office, 2 days home.

    You’ll play a central role in leading high-impact campaigns for a range of clients—crafting engaging content, developing intelligent strategies, and delivering measurable results that deliver real business impact.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

    Writing high-quality content—from press releases and bylines, to white papers, case studies, and thought leadership articles—that speak directly to key decision makers and reflect client tone and purpose.

    Managing campaigns end-to-end, including overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including timelines, budgets, media outreach, and internal workflows.

    Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, proactively identifying opportunities to add value, solve challenges, and grow the account.

    Coaching junior team members, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to a supportive, high-performance team culture.

    Supporting new business and organic growth through insight-led recommendations, pitch development, and strategic proposals.

    You should apply if you have…

    * Proven experience in B2B and/or corporate communications, ideally within an agency environment.

    * Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical or complex information into clear, engaging content.

    * Excellent knowledge of the UK media landscape—especially within trade, national business, and specialist sectors.

    * Experience working within the property/built environment sector would be desirable, but is not essential.

    * A strategic mindset, with confidence in advising senior stakeholders and developing integrated communications plans.

    * Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

    * A collaborative, proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent work
