The Youth Education Service (YES) is working in partnership with a specialist SEMH school in Wirral that supports children and young people with SEMH needs, and additional learning difficulties.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants across Key Stages 2–4 to join a supportive and experienced team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and within the classroom.
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging learning activities.
* Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and independence.
* Support pupils' social, emotional, and educational development.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals.
* Maintain safeguarding and behaviour standards at all times.
What We're Looking For
* A positive, resilient, and caring approach.
* Experience working with children or young people (preferred).
* Experience supporting SEN, SEMH, Autism, ADHD, or behavioural needs is advantageous.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and ongoing professional development.
Candidates from education, youth work, care, sports coaching, and similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

* £99 - £114.33 per day
