How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Purpose

    The Recruiting Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering a high‑quality, end‑to‑end recruitment experience for both Entry‑Level and Experienced Hire candidates in the UK. This role ensures operational excellence across candidate management, interview coordination, and onboarding while acting as a professional ambassador for Oliver Wyman. By enabling smooth, timely, and accurate recruiting processes, the role directly supports the firm’s ability to attract top talent.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Screen applications for Entry‑Level and Internship positions, ensuring alignment with role requirements
    • Coordinate assessment centers and interviews, including scheduling across multiple rounds, liaising with interviewers and Executive Assistants managing Partner diaries, and arranging candidate travel and expenses
    • Support the collection, coordination, and tracking of interview feedback to enable timely hiring decisions
    • Maintain and update recruiting systems and databases (Workday), ensuring data accuracy and compliance for firm‑wide use
    • Support and participate in recruitment events, including managing logistics, traveling to campuses, and representing Oliver Wyman at career fairs and recruiting events
    • Prepare and issue contracts and offer letters in line with firm processes
    • Coordinate onboarding and background checks for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the firm
    • Act as a key point of contact for Human Capital Operations and Global Mobility, supporting cross‑team coordination
    • Manage candidate communications and the UK Recruiting inbox, delivering a professional, responsive candidate experience and acting as an Oliver Wyman ambassador


    Required Skills & Experience

    • Up to 2 years of experience in a recruitment function, ideally with entry-level or campus recruitment.
    • Proficient in relevant IT systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
    • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
    • Proactive team player with a strong appetite for learning and growth.
    • Ability to manage high work volume and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
    • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
    • Commitment to company culture and values.
    • Experience with recruitment IT systems such as Workday.
    • Exposure to global mobility or HR operations.
