Quantity Surveyor (Pre-Contract) – Transmission & Distribution
Location: Hybrid (London Area or Greater Manchester)
Type: Contract, Full-Time
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor (Pre-Contract) to support the commercial and contractual delivery of major Transmission & Distribution projects. The role will focus on contract drafting, tender preparation, commercial review, risk assessment, and pre-award contract administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontract agreements.
- Prepare and manage tender and procurement documentation.
- Support bid teams with commercial and contractual input.
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
- Review contract terms and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Assist with pricing, cost planning, and commercial evaluations.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline.
- Experience in a pre-contract QS or commercial role.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Experience working on the developer side.
- Knowledge of NEC contracts.
- Experience within utilities, power, infrastructure, or T&D projects is desirable.
