How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We’re looking for an ambitious Commercial Property Associate to join our growing team at Cripps.

    Working with the Commercial Property team, you’ll advise a diverse client base on a broad range of commercial property matters, with exposure to high-quality transactional and advisory work from day one.


    This is a role where you’ll be trusted to take ownership of matters, build strong client relationships and play an active part in the continued success of the team.     What you’ll be doing


    You’ll manage a varied caseload of commercial property work, supporting clients through transactions and advisory matters from start to finish.


    This will include:

    • Advising clients clearly and pragmatically on commercial property issues
    • Managing matters through the full lifecycle of a transaction
    • Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders
    • Working closely with Oliver Morris and colleagues across the team on complex and varied matters
    • Ensuring clients are kept informed and supported throughout
    • Taking responsibility for the quality, accuracy and delivery of your work


    You’ll also contribute to the wider success of the team by supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge and getting involved in business development activity.


    Business development

    About you


    You’ll likely be a qualified solicitor with relevant PQE gained in a respected regional, national or City firm, with experience in commercial property work.


    Beyond your technical ability, you’ll be someone who:

    • Enjoys working directly with clients and building relationships
    • Takes ownership of your work and manages matters confidently
    • Communicates clearly and effectively
    • Works well in a collaborative, team-focused environment
    • Is proactive, curious and keen to continue developing
