How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Talent Acquisition Advisor

Location: Hybrid - London or Birmingham

    Salary: Competitive + Benefits

Are you an experienced Talent Acquisition professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle?

We're partnering with a growing global organisation looking to add a Talent Acquisition Advisor to their busy in-house recruitment team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong direct sourcing expertise, outstanding stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously across a range of business functions.

This role will suit an experienced in-house or RPO recruiter who enjoys building relationships, proactively engaging talent, and delivering high-quality hiring outcomes in a dynamic environment.

    The Opportunity:

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you'll manage end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of roles, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and deliver effective hiring strategies. You'll be responsible for sourcing and attracting top talent, building talent pipelines, and providing a best-in-class candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Working across multiple business areas, you'll support recruitment activity for functions including finance, claims, operations, and other corporate disciplines, while helping the business meet ambitious growth objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing through to offer and onboarding.
    • Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand hiring requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
    • Proactively source and engage high-quality active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
    • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
    • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
    • Manage a high-volume workload, typically handling around 20 live vacancies simultaneously.
    • Provide market insights and recruitment expertise to hiring managers and business leaders.
    • Support internal mobility and fixed-term hiring requirements alongside permanent recruitment activity.
    • Champion inclusive recruitment practices and contribute to diversity-focused hiring initiatives.
    • Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, efficiency, and candidate attraction strategies.

    About You:

    • 3–5 years' Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Partner, or Resourcing experience gained within an in-house or RPO environment.
    • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups.
    • Strong direct sourcing capability with a track record of identifying and attracting talent through LinkedIn and other digital sourcing channels.
    • Experience managing a high-volume requisition workload while maintaining quality and service levels.
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility across all levels of the business.
    • Commercially minded with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
    • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of recruitment delivery.
    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing business priorities.
    • Experience recruiting within insurance is advantageous but not essential.
    • Candidates from financial services, banking, professional services, or Big Four environments will also be highly regarded.

    What's on Offer

    • Opportunity to join a growing and highly visible Talent Acquisition team.
    • Broad exposure across multiple business functions and international hiring activity.
    • A collaborative and supportive environment with genuine opportunity to make an impact.
    • Competitive salary and benefits package.
    • Hybrid working and flexible working arrangements.

If you're a proactive recruiter who enjoys sourcing talent, partnering with stakeholders, and working at pace, we'd love to hear from you.
