Aramco Trading Limited (ATL) was incorporated in London in 2019. ATL carry out energy trading activities, in particular the trading, by way of procurement and sale of refined products, crude oil, specialty petroleum products and chemicals. In addition to physical trading, ATL also engage in a wide variety of activities including shipping, chartering, storage and trading of financial derivatives. The company has a widely diverse employee base with expertise in all aspects of the oil trading market. The rapidly expanding London team compliments our global network and provides constant coverage across all time zones. ATL is an active participant in hydrocarbon trading in Europe and Africa, with wide variety of crude grades and different petroleum products. The Company has also been expanding its activities to include Gas business where trading Liquefied Petroleum Products (LPG) and Lignified Natural Gas (LNG) form part of the growing portfolio.
We are now seeking a Light Ends Operator to join our team.
Key accountabilities:
- Supporting the trading desk with accurate and prompt information in regards of live status of the cargoes, providing estimatedBill of Ladingdates and quantities so the Trader Assistant can report an accurate PnL and pricing exposure
- Operating chartered and non-chartered Gasoline Barges and Vessels and providing support to other desks such as Naphtha and LPG in line with business needs
- Vetting vessels where needed and sending vessel nominations as well as documentary instructions in line with underlying GTCs to ensure full compliance with deal terms
- Performing all administrative system tasks in line with the global KPIs – updating the ETRM system in a timely manner, sending inspection nominations via Navarik, and insuring cargoes in the online portal
- Monitor vessel movement and pre-cargoes, identifying quantity loss and quality off-spec and assist Cargo Control to lodge claim against suppliers/owners.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory aspects (REACH, VAT, Customs, etc.) and adherence to HSE and all other applicable company policies and procedures.
- Give full support to the back office team for smoothactivities which includeinvoices, claims for quality and quantity, demurrage.
- Performing other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Gasoline Traders, Blender and Operations Management
Professional experience required:
- Degree qualified, preferably in a relevant field (Business, Engineering, Chemistry, Logistics, Trading & Commodities, etc.)
- Solid relevant work experience with Gasoline or products
- Strong Excel skills and highly numerate
- Knowledge and experience of the oil industry
- SAP knowledge is desirable but not mandatory
