How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Head of HR


    We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to appoint an experienced Head of HR.


    This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to influence both operational and strategic decision-making whilst partnering closely with senior leaders across the business.


    Supporting an operational workforce, you'll play a critical role in shaping and delivering the people agenda, ensuring it supports business performance, organisational effectiveness and future growth.


    You'll be a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, bringing challenge, insight and commercial thinking to discussions around workforce planning, organisational change, employee engagement, talent and leadership capability.


    This is a role for someone who enjoys being visible within the business, building relationships, influencing outcomes and helping leaders navigate both opportunities and challenges.


    What you'll be doing

    • Partnering with senior operational and functional leaders to deliver business objectives.
    • Acting as a trusted adviser on people, organisation and culture matters.
    • Leading workforce planning and organisational development initiatives.
    • Supporting business transformation and change programmes.
    • Driving employee engagement and leadership effectiveness.
    • Managing complex employee relations matters and organisational risk.
    • Building credibility across a broad stakeholder group.
    • Coaching leaders to improve capability and performance.
    • Working collaboratively with wider HR and specialist teams.
    • Using people data and insight to influence decision-making.


    About You

    You'll be an experienced HR leader with the ability to operate confidently in a complex stakeholder environment.
