Role Description
This is a full-time, Mobile Smart Repairer role based in the Greater Bristol and somerset Area. The Mobile Smart Repairer will travel to customer locations or partner sites to carry out small to medium area repair techniques (SMART), including scratch, dent, scuff, and bumper repairs, as well as minor paintwork and refinishing. Wheel returns and Diamond cutting wheels with be the order of there day. Responsibilities include assessing vehicle damage, agreeing repair scopes, preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paint, and finishing repairs to a high standard. The role also involves maintaining repair equipment and vehicle stock, following health and safety procedures, documenting work completed, and providing professional, courteous service to all customers. The Mobile Smart Repairer will collaborate with the wider workshop and office team to ensure efficient scheduling and timely completion of repairs.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in SMART repairs, including minor panel repairs, plastic bumper repairs, paint preparation, and refinishing.
- Experience using Diamondcut wheel lathes and associated materials.
- Good understanding of vehicle paint systems, color matching, blending techniques, and finishing processes.
- Ability to assess damage, plan repair methods, and work to quality and safety standards with minimal supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills, including clear communication, professionalism on-site, and a solution-focused approach.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to manage a mobile schedule and complete work within agreed timeframes.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within the Greater Bristol/somerset Area as part of daily duties.
- Previous experience in vehicle body repair, SMART repair, or a related automotive repair role; relevant vocational qualifications (e.g., NVQ/City & Guilds) are beneficial.
- Commitment to safe working practices and maintaining a clean, well-organized mobile work environment.

Pay and Benefits
We are looking for the very best and the package has to match that. The hours are expected to be in the region of 8-5 Monday to Friday with NO weekends. We are able to offer flexible hours and happy to look at flexible working patterns. The reward package on offer is a basic pay plus commission with an OTE. We are happy to listen on what you would like your pay plan to look like and if we align we will be only too pleased to rubber stamp it. We are willing to pay the best for the best.
