How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About Royalcraft

Royalcraft has been designing and supplying quality outdoor furniture since 1990 and is trusted by homeowners and retailers across the UK. With over 35 years of heritage, we are now entering an exciting new phase of growth. Recently, we have expanded into indoor furniture, creating a seamless flow between home and garden through considered design inspired by nature, wellness, and biophilic living. Alongside this, we are accelerating our direct-to-consumer (DTC) growth and strengthening partnerships with leading UK retailers including M&S, Next, and Very. This role sits at the heart of that growth.

    The role

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join the marketing team and play a hands-on part in everything we do across email, social and content. This is a foundational role, the right person will have real ownership from day one, work closely with experienced senior marketers, and have a clear path to grow with the business.

If you love writing, are curious about brands, and want to learn how a full marketing function operates inside a real consumer business, this is the role for you.

    Who you'll work with

You'll report into our Brand Marketing Executive and work closely with our Marketing Manager, and E-commerce & Marketing Executive. You'll also work directly with our NPD team on new product launches, and with our PPC and SEO agencies on the wider digital picture.

    What you'll be doing

    Email marketing (Klaviyo)

    • Build, schedule and deploy email campaigns to our B2C and B2B audiences.
    • Help maintain and improve our automated flows (welcome, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back).
    • A/B test subject lines, send times, segments and CTAs, and turn results into recommendations.
    • Keep our lists healthy: segmentation, deliverability, list growth tactics.
    • Pull weekly and monthly performance reports and share insights with the team.

    Social media

    • Working with Brand Marketing Executive to manage social content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn
    • Schedule and publish organic posts, stories and reels.
    • Manage our community, replies, DMs, comments, in our brand voice.
    • Create short-form video and image content using Canva and our AI toolkit.
    • Track what's working, report on growth and engagement, and feed learnings back into the plan.

    Product copywriting

    • Write clear, beautiful product copy for new launches, web descriptions, packaging, sales sheets.
    • Support the wider team on email copy, social captions, web pages and ad copy when needed.
    • Keep everything consistent with our brand tone of voice.
    • Work hand-in-hand with NPD as products move from concept to launch.

    Wider team support

    • Get stuck in on campaign rollouts, seasonal launches and key brand moments & trade shows
    • Help keep our assets, templates and brand library organised and accessible.
    • Bring ideas to the table. We listen.
    • Be open to learn around other areas in marketing.

Why this is an exciting role

This isn't a role where you'll be siloed into one channel. You'll get hands-on experience across email, social and copy, three of the most valuable skills in modern marketing, while working in a brand that's investing in its future.

    You'll learn:

    • How a full marketing function operates inside a growing consumer business.
    • Klaviyo to a high standard, including automation, segmentation and analytics.
    • How to use AI tools properly in a marketing workflow (we're early movers but big adopters here).
    • How seasonal product launches are planned, marketed and measured end-to-end.
    • What good brand work looks like, tone, consistency, storytelling.
    • How trade shows like Solex are planned and activated.

  • And the development is real. We want someone who'll grow with the business, there is genuine room to step up as you build experience. The right person could see their role evolve significantly over the next 2–3 years.

    Who we're looking for

    Essential

    • Around 4 years' experience in a similar role in marketing (in-house or agency).
    • Excellent written English, you genuinely enjoy writing and care about getting it right.
    • A natural feel for social media and an interest in how brands behave online.
    • Email marketing experience with building campaign emails and flows.
    • Canva, Klaviyo (or equivalent to).
    • Comfortable with technology, you pick up new tools quickly and aren't intimidated by data.
    • Organised, detail-oriented, and reliable. You take pride in your work.
    • Curious and proactive, you ask questions, suggest ideas, and don't wait to be told.
    • Genuinely want to build a career in marketing and grow with a brand.

What we care about as much as experience

Attitude. We'd love to hire someone who is hungry to learn, takes ownership, and brings good energy to the team.
