Interim Compliance Officer (Education & Training)

£200-£250 per day DOE | 2-3 Month Contract
Are you an experienced Compliance Officer, Quality Assurance Professional, or Audit Specialist with a background in the education, training, apprenticeship, or further education sector?
We are recruiting for an Interim Compliance Officer to join a well-established educational organisation in the Black Country. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in strengthening compliance processes and supporting the delivery of a business-critical improvement plan following a recent audit
Key Responsibility
- Lead and support compliance improvement initiatives across training and education programme
- Implement and monitor action plans arising from audit finding
- Work closely with external auditors, assessors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance requirements are m
- Review and strengthen compliance processes, policies, and procedure
- Maintain accurate compliance records and audit documentation
- Ensure secure handling of sensitive information within both paper-based and digital system
- Prepare evidence and documentation for future inspections, audits, and quality review
- Support continuous improvement activities and promote best practice across the organisation

Requirements
- Proven experience in a Compliance Officer, Quality Assurance, Audit, Governance, or Regulatory Compliance ro
- Previous experience within the education, training, apprenticeship, further education (FE), or learning and development sector is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of audit processes, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight timescale
- Comfortable managing both paper-based and electronic record system
- Enhanced DBS Certificate or willingness to undergo DBS checks
