About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Operations to join a well-established, values-driven organisation within the social care sector.
This senior leadership position sits on the Executive Management Team, with responsibility for overseeing service delivery, leading operational strategy, and ensuring high-quality, person-centred care across a diverse portfolio of services.
You’ll play a critical role in driving performance, supporting growth, and ensuring services consistently deliver positive outcomes for the people supported
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and develop operational teams across multiple services
- Ensure services meet all regulatory, safeguarding, and contractual requirements
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Oversee budgets, resources, and performance metrics
- Monitor sector trends and policy changes to inform strategy
- Produce reports and provide assurance to senior stakeholders and board members
About You
- NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care or Management
- Significant experience within the care sector (10+ years)
- Proven track record in a senior leadership role
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs (e.g. Autism, mental health, dementia)
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including commissioners and local authorities
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
