Lusona Consultancy are delighted to be Retained by our client in the Engineering sector to recruit for a Finance Business Partner. Our client are a 250 million turnover organisation in East Kilbride with exciting growth plans ahead. With this steady growth, our client are looking to create a new position in the structure for a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.
This role will report to a Senior finance business partner and will be responsible for a growing division in the group. The Finance Business Partner will join a collaborative and operationally focused business with a 4 day working week on site and 1 day from home. Our client offer a generous benefits package which includes £50,000 - £55,000, car allowance of £6,600, early finish every Friday at 3pm and private healthcare in addition to 34 days annual leave. This role can be full or Part time for the successful candidate.
The Finance Business Partner will be a trusted advisor with operational teams, providing in depth analysis of Monthly Management Accounts and building relationships with stakeholders. The Finance business partner will interrogate the numbers and provide insight and healthy challenge to the business with ways to improve commercial performance. The Finance business partner will provide financial insight across job costing, margins and cash-flow management. Leading operational meetings the business partner will support on projects, anticipating business needs and own the budgeting and forecasting process for the division.
The Business Partner will work with the senior management team on business performance, undertake reviews of divisional overheads, cost management and will have significant involvement in management accounting function to bridge the gap between finance and operations. This role requires strong technical and general ledger control in addition to strong relationship building skills to gain valuable knowledge of the operations of the division.
The ideal candidate will have a strong Management Accounting background with significant experience working with operational teams to influence performance. You will be Qualified professionally or through experience with experience ideally coming from Engineering, construction or a similar sector. You will have a curious and analytical approach with a desire to understand and build credibility with stakeholders to drive performance and create a culture of continuous improvement.
