Content & Copywriter (German Speaking)

Reporting To: Senior Marketing Manager in Germany
We are looking for a talented German-speaking Content & Copywriter to support the growth of our brand in the German market. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented content professional who can create engaging, culturally relevant content that resonates with German audiences.
Working closely with marketing, e-commerce and product teams, you will be responsible for creating, adapting and optimising content across multiple channels. This role goes beyond translation, requiring a strong understanding of German consumer behaviour, local market nuances and search trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and localise content for websites, landing pages, product descriptions, blogs and email campaigns.
- Write compelling copy for social media, digital advertising, brochures, presentations and sales materials.
- Conduct keyword research and optimise content for German search behaviour and SEO performance.
- Support SEO and PPC initiatives through localisation of keywords, search terms and campaign messaging.
- Proofread, edit and quality-check content produced by agencies and third-party suppliers.
- Ensure consistency of brand tone, messaging and terminology across all German marketing communications.
- Research market trends, competitor activity and consumer insights to inform content strategy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support marketing campaigns, product launches and business objectives.
About You
- Fluent in both German and English, with exceptional written communication skills in both languages.
- Previous experience in copywriting, content marketing, localisation, translation or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research and content optimisation best practices.
- Ability to adapt messaging for German audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
- Excellent attention to detail, proofreading and editing skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proactive, collaborative and comfortable working within a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to travel occasionally to the UK for team meetings, planning sessions and key business events (if based in Germany).
