The academy is looking to appoint a Teacher of Humanities on a permanent basis from September 2026 or sooner. The successful Teacher of Humanities will primarily teach History and Geography within Key Stage 3 at the Lower Academy, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations, and supporting students to make excellent academic progress.
The successful Teacher of Humanities will have:
• QTS and the ability to teach Humanities subjects
• Experience teaching History and Geography within a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to engage, motivate and challenge students of varying abilities
• A commitment to raising standards and supporting student achievement
