TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic nursery in Knaresborough that is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join their team. This welcoming setting provides a child-centred approach to learning and development, with a Forest School provision that encourages children to explore, build confidence and develop a love of the natural environment.
The nursery is looking to appoint a part-time Nursery Practitioner on a permanent basis. The successful Nursery Practitioner will work closely with children across the early years age range, delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS curriculum, supporting children's development and ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (desirable)
• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A passion for outdoor learning and child-led exploration
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, patient and nurturing approach
