We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our clients team, responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal and protection of various interior and exterior surfaces. Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
* Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to execute colour schemes and decorative effects accurately.
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with clients and team members to discuss project requirements and progress.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, performing routine maintenance as needed.
* Complete projects within specified timeframes while adhering to quality standards.
Experience
* Proven experience in construction painting and decorating is essential.
* Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation between sites.
* Good command of English language for effective communication with clients and team members.
* Strong communication skills are necessary for understanding project specifications and collaborating effectively.
* Prior experience working on residential or commercial projects will be advantageous.
