The role: You’ll be responsible for operating CNC machinery, carrying out adjustments and ensuring components meet specification through accurate measurement and documentation.
Key responsibilities:

Set and operate CNC machines safely and efficiently
*
Change offsets, inserts and carry out basic machine maintenance
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings
*
Use a range of measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, ring gauges, plug gauges, shadow graph and height gauges
*
Complete all required paperwork such as Work Orders and quality control charts
*
Conduct in‑process quality checks and record results
*
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
What we’re looking for:

Proven experience operating CNC machinery
*
Confident with offsets, tooling changes and routine maintenance
*
Strong understanding of measurement and inspection tools
*
Competent with production paperwork and quality documentation
*
Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality
*
Reliable, team‑focused attitude
Working hours (39 per week):
* Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm
* Friday 07.30am - 12.30pm
